For Startups Only!
So you're planning on starting a dental practice and are probably wondering how to do that on a budget. Good plan! The answer to this question is easy – but it does bring up other questions.
Why do you need an "as built" dental office plan?
Yes, you can look into someone's mouth and see that they need a lot of dentistry. But show me one dentist that actually has a professional degree and license that will attempt to turn that qualitative assessment into an accurate treatment plan. Anything other than a plan based on detailed, objective data (from radiographs, for one example) would be unthinkable in a dental practice. It's much like trying to plan for your future dental office without having accurate measurements of your space as it was constructed.
How Sala Family Dentistry's New Office Helps Create Millionaire Employees
When they embarked on the largest effort in their practice history — the project several years ago to expand their office from 4,200 square feet and ten treatment rooms to 17,000 square feet with 27 treatment rooms — brothers Dr. Jason Sala, DMD and Dr. Todd A. Sala, DMD didn't yet imagine how their new office could help them create something far greater than just their personal success.

For Productive Dentists, Real Estate Cost Is Just Noise
Many dentists refuse to spend on their facilities, even though the opportunity for success in dentistry has never been better. These dentists just don't understand that, if they're productive, the cost of real estate is relatively small, often as little as 5% of overhead.
Dental operatories don't need to be large to feel spacious
The key to creating dental operatories that are space-efficient is to avoid bulky, unnecessary cabinetry, so that the operatory floor is open and uncluttered. This is done largely through consolidation of supplies within arm's reach of the operator and through the use of in-wall cabinetry.
It's time to consider going all in with electric dental handpieces
It's time to consider going all electric. And I mean all in. Not patched on. If you do high-skill work, it’s time to consider 100% integrated electric instrumentation in your dental office.
Five phases of dental office front desk design
Most dentists don't fully understand that as your practice grows, almost everything changes. How you organize the front desk needs to change or else it becomes an obstacle to growth.
Innovations in Orthodontics and Office Design Help Richter Orthodontics Thrive
Dr. Richter has been practicing in Greeley for 20 years, building a thriving business. “I just love the community,” he says. “Our previous building was great, but we’ve continued to grow, and we outgrew our space.” So he embarked on a project in 2016 to build a new facility.
Harnessing the Power of Patient Personas to Elevate Your Dental Practice Marketing
Let's be honest, many dentists and practice managers speculate. They hypothesize about what concerns patients. They formulate marketing website copy and advertising campaigns built on their own interpretations, without directly engaging with the people who will genuinely utilize their dental services. This method isn't just inefficient; it's a squandering of valuable time and resources.
