At Design Ergonomics, we don’t just design dental offices; we help dentists build the practice of their dreams.

When Dr. David Willey of Lakeside Dental came to us with plans to expand into a new facility on Lake Jackson in Sebring, Florida, he had a clear vision: a patient-centric space that elevated comfort, improved clinical flow, and supported long-term growth.

A Focus on Comfort, Flexibility, and Efficiency

For Dr. Willey, the operatory experience was a top priority. He wanted treatment rooms that delivered the highest level of patient comfort, without compromising staff efficiency.

We equipped Lakeside Dental with industry-leading chairs featuring integrated heat and massage functionality, along with operatories designed for maximum versatility. Every room is optimized for seamless movement by staff and easy access for patients.

Designing for More Than Just Aesthetics

Our collaboration went far beyond equipment. We worked closely with Dr. Willey to bring his ideal layout to life, ensuring the design reflected his goals, workflow, and values.

One area of focus was the sterilization and supply centers. These high-traffic areas are critical to overall efficiency. By optimizing layout and access, we helped streamline Lakeside Dental’s back-end processes to match the pace and performance of the front of the house.

A True Partnership from Start to Finish

What makes our approach different? We don’t just drop off equipment. We guide dentists every step of the way, from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.

For Lakeside Dental, that meant on-site visits before, during, and after the construction process. We were hands-on throughout the journey, ensuring every detail aligned with Dr. Willey’s expectations and workflow needs.

As he put it:

“Design Ergonomics really spends the time to find out what you would like in your practice and help you customize the needs of your practice to your vision and your goals.”

Build the Practice You’ve Always Wanted

Whether you’re planning a new build or remodeling your current space, we’d love to help bring your dream practice to life, just like we did for Lakeside Dental.
